The Local Economic Development Limited (LEDL) is a non-profit Papua New Guinea Farmers Base Company (FBC) form purposely to Integrate small remote and rural cocoa farmers into the global cocoa value chain (GVC). We also strive to promote and encourage sustainable small scale commercial cocoa farming and act as the Farmers Export Administrator and Management Agent.
Local Economic Development Limited was formed purposely to empower rural and remote disadvantage farming family to venture into Agri SME Business. Nowadays, most disadvantage remote and rural illiterate Farming Family do not have the capacity to own their own Agri-SME Business because of the limited understanding of the cation regulating authority standard. However, that's why we develop certain product to minimize their problem of owning and operating their own SME Business. Our product target respected commodity extension training and UpToDate coaching in the area of Financial Literacy, Manage your Own Business and Family Farm Training.
Currently we are working with the cocoa farming family in Papua New Guinea conducting Cocoa Field Training, start your Agri SME and Own Your Agri SME Business and Financial Literacy Training.
